Equine Banda Flex Disposable, non-adhesive & super stretch bandages are the horse version of our award winning Paw Flex Bandages. Designed for lower leg use, with 3 bandage size widths, these innovative Vet approved bandages are ideal for tending to small to medium wounds or emergency treatment. They are water resistant yet breathable and will not shrink when wet. The non-slip feature was designed to keep bandage in place no matter how active your horse is and will not crease or wrinkle or cause nerve damage. The quick ‘catch & release’ duel fastener tabs make application and removal a quick, easy, painless, hassle and stress free process. Regardless of the situation, Banda Flex Bandages are designed for quick and easy application by professional and non-professional caregivers to provide effective, multi-functional treatment. The bandage also has a non-adherent pad that is already attached and aids in the easy application of medicine as well as staying in place while the bandage can be easily wrapped and secured. This all-in-one bandage also consolidates multiple first-aid components such as a primary dressing, pressure applicator, secondary dressing and a strong fastening tab to secure the bandage in place. No need for separate gauze pad, wrap, adhesives and scissors. 1 piece, 1 second; that’s all you need. Each bandage stretches to double its non -stretch length. Although the rebound tension (bounce back) has a gentle recovery it is never advisable to stretch bandage to their maximum stretch-ability. Stretching the bandage to 50% of its capacity will insure the most comfortable and effectively functioning fit. Before applying bandage, gently stretch a few times to break its crisp new feel. This will soften the bandage and allow a form fit. Although the bandages are disposable, they are strong & resilient and can be washed & reused. We recommend you cut wound pad out after first use, hand wash bandage/air dry. Insert new wound pad for additionally uses.
