TARGETED COLD THERAPY – The New LeMieux ProIce Freeze Boots provide targeted icy cold directly to Tendons and Joints. The sooner the temperature of tendons can be reduced after work, the better. This applies to high-intensity dressage, galloping, jumping, and cross-country.
MAXIMUM CHILL – The purpose of using cold is to break the cycle of inflammatory response before it causes cell damage. The foil lining effectively insulates and prolongs the cold effect, whilst the soft mesh lining protects skin from freeze burn and allows for maximum transfer of cold.
BETTER SURFACE CONTACT – The unique Hypo-Freeze Gel remains soft and contours around the lower limb ensuring optimum surface contact with tendons and fetlock joints. Can be worn on front or hind legs. Sold in pairs.
FOR MAINTENANCE OR MANAGEMENT – Regular use of ProIce Freeze boots for short periods (20-30 minutes) after intense exercise is excellent for preventative purposes to ensure ligaments, tendons, and joints remain tight. The use of ProIce Boots can prevent the onset of localized swelling and heat.
EASY TO USE – Place boots or inserts in freezer for a minimum of 4-6 hours or overnight prior to application. Use in short 20-30 minute sessions, multiple times daily in severe cases. Press securely to mold gel. Ensure straps are firmly closed but not overly tight.
